Assets under custody

Client assets held or administered in a custody perimeter without becoming the broker's own balance-sheet assets.

Keep custody assets separate from assets under management, client cash, executed trading value and the company's own assets. The valuation date, market-value basis, client perimeter, currency and whether sub-custody is included are required before comparison; an unaudited or stale amount must remain labelled accordingly.

Why the term matters

Dubaist uses this term with one stable meaning across public profiles, research, events and methodology. That reduces ambiguity but does not make different companies, periods or evidence scopes automatically comparable.

What to check when it appears

Read the adjacent company or security identity, reporting period, unit, scope, source, locator, verification date and publication state. If one required field is missing, keep that boundary visible.
